BOBBY WATKINS
VICE PRESIDENT – GOVERNMENT SERVICES
As the Vice President of Government Services at Barrios Technology, Bobby directs government-oriented subcontracts in Houston and Huntsville along with the Consolidated Program Support Services (CPSS) prime contract. He also provides executive leadership to the Program and Project Management teams responsible for the delivery of products and services to Barrios’ customers. Bobby spearheads growth across government contracts and leads Barrios’ business base in Huntsville, Alabama, where he facilitates the development of Barrios’ presence and support to Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) and the local contractor community.
NASA CAREER
Before joining Barrios, Bobby served as Director of the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) Human Exploration Development and Operations Office. His responsibilities included leading MSFC’s contribution to the development of the Habitation Element for NASA’s lunar outpost, Gateway; round-the-clock station payload operations at the International Space Station (ISS); development and maintenance of the ISS’s Environmental Control and Life Support System; activities for NASA’s Commercial Crew Program and the Orion Launch Abort System; as well as the development and operation of ground support systems for several programs and missions.

Bobby holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Albany State University. He is married to Dell Watkins, a former Barrios employee. Together they enjoy jogging, yoga, pilates, and golfing – when time permits.
