Barrios Contributes to Santa Fe Strong
Barrios Technology’s mission statement has always included providing extraordinary value to the communities where its employees live and work so it wasn’t a hard decision for CEO Sandy Johnson to support the victims and their families of the recent Santa Fe High School shooting. Barrios made a generous donation of $1000 to the Santa Fe Strong Fund. Like many local companies, Barrios wasn’t alone in having some its own employees impacted by the tragedy. Johnson made the contribution in support of those employees and the many other families impacted.
“All children, teachers, and administrators should feel safe at school,” said Johnson. “Anything we can contribute as business leaders in our community to help those impacted by this tragedy makes a difference. Thanks to the Santa Fe Education Foundation for all they are doing to help our community heal.”
The Santa Fe Strong Fund is a project operated under the 501(c)(3) of the Santa Fe Education Foundation to support families of those killed, injured or held hostage in the horrific mass shooting at Santa Fe High School. The Fund is governed by a local Steering Committee appointed by the Executive Committee of the Education Foundation. The National Compassion Fund (NCF) will administer the distribution of funds under an agreement with the Education Foundation.
